The Opportunity at AIA

As an Environment Engineer you will implement Environment solution for Projects in a dynamic corporate environment also working with Application and Infrastructure Teams on Technical Environment Delivery Solutions.


About the Opportunity with AIA

Delivering on continuous improvement activities in overall Environment Management capability ensuring it is always relevant and meets the needs of internal customer groups, you will also:

Create and maintain Environment Management Strategies, policies and processes
Define and maintain library of tools, scripts, methodologies and standards to be used in integration, regression, acceptance and performance testing
Communicating and collaborating with project and technical teams on Environment requirements, delivery and support
Assisting Project and Release managers define their program of work
Troubleshooting, managing and tracking Environment Incidents & Service Requests in conjunction with technical teams and external partners via the service management tool - ServiceNow
To be successful in this position you will have

Knowledge of DevOps, change and release management (Mandatory)
Proven experience as an Environment Manager and/or Analyst, or relevant experience with several the key technologies used within the Environments remit
Good understanding of IT infrastructure
Demonstrated ability and flexibility to work in a fast paced, demanding environment
Strong process orientation, but with well-developed skills in consultation, facilitation, and negotiation
Experience in application servers like Websphere, Weblogic, tomcat, Apache and IIS servers. (preferred)
Knowledge of both windows and Linux OS
