The Opportunity at AIA

Contribute to the implementation of CMLA Halley Modelling for both the Promise model component and the non-promise model component for IFRS17 implementation.
About the Opportunity with AIA

This position plays a significant role in the implementation of the Actuarial Prophet models for the IFRS17 compliance project for Australia. You will also:

Demonstrate personal responsibility for achieving high quality results
Prepare and communicate materials in relation to supporting stakeholder management as required
Work closely with local project team and GO stakeholders to ensure modelling solutions align to AIA modelling principles and policies
Demonstrate willingness to proactively address current and potential challenges and opportunities
To be successful in this position you will have

At least 5 years practical experience in actuarial systems modelling in a life insurance environment including extensive experience with Prophet model development.
Understanding of the interaction of cashflows, capital, profit and value measures and drivers.
Experience with managing Prophet results output and integration of the output into Finance and/or Enterprise systems.
Strong Prophet modelling skills.
Knowledge of DCS, SQL,TM1 and other data related tools is beneficial.
Knowledge of the Australian life insurance, life prudential standards, tax and legislation is beneficial.
