The Opportunity at AIA

The DevOps Engineer will have a deep understanding of build and release processes and strong focus on developing automation solutions for delivery of applications using industry standard frameworks.
About the Opportunity with AIA

You will require good analytical skills and ability to learn new technologies in the area of continuous integration and continuous delivery. You will also:

Work closely with AIA Australia’s Automation team to Develop ,maintain, enhance DevOps frameworks
Predict and deliver improvements to our automated Automation/infrastructure components, and also recommend and implement alternative tools and new technologies that could better solve our challenges.
Work closely with both DevOps engineers and Technical Leads on a daily basis to design solutions around continuous integration and continuous delivery.
Work closely with consultants to automate non-IBM, non-Java based applications such as Pega, UiPAth, etc.
Build and maintain a robust monitoring and alerting framework for Production and non-production application infrastructure stack.
To be successful in this position you will have

Extensive Experience in Automation and Scripting
Strong experience with Middleware
Very strong scripting skills in Python/Ruby/ Groovy
commercial experience with IBM technologies, specifically WebSphere deployment and configuration management.
Experience deploying Java enterprise applications to an application server via an admin console and via scripting
Strong understanding and experience with Cloud SaaS solutions such as Bluemix/ AWS/ Azure
Able to troubleshoot application server logging output
