The Opportunity at AIA

This role will support a program of work to remediate customers across a number of initiatives to ensure we are doing the right thing in the right way at the right time by them. The program and the role is multi-faceted and works closely with teams right across the organisation including our product, pricing, contact centre, claims, administration, complaints, distribution, risk, compliance, legal, actuarial and technology areas as well as our dedicated program team members. At least two Business SME roles also directly report into this role.
Some of the key responsibilities

Assist in providing the vision of the roadmap and its delivery
Work autonomously and take ownership of work and see through the actions until the delivery.
Assist the Project Managers (PMs) in prioritising tasks, user stories and defects, based on development needs and the roadmap commitments.
Have oversight of the Business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) activities and allocate tasks to the Business SMEs, as required and agreed with the program team.
Anticipate stakeholder needs
Be a primary liaison (contact point) for the Remediation program team for relevant business and external stakeholders
Provide input to reports for internal or external stakeholders.
Manage and update the status of the various initiatives in our risk management system.
Liaise with third parties such as Trustees or platforms partners as needed.
Work closely with Risk and the business remediation team to ensure that appropriate controls are defined as required and new issues identified through the program of work are registered in the incident management system.
Review and provide approvals on various program artefacts, including but not limited to business requirements and processes, change/communication documents, transition plans, etc.
Answer queries and assist the program team in determining:
Business and/or data requirements
Change impacts due to new processes
Provide strategy, options and solutions to deliver outcomes
Conduct test activities and peer reviews, as required.
Answer queries and/or undertaken adhoc tasks for capping and remediation, as required.
To be successful in the role you will

Highly developed problem-solving skills
Have excellent communication skills
Highly developed analytical skills
Solid knowledge of Retail products and its life cycle.
Basic knowledge of Claims systems and processes.
Be able to self-manage and deliver to the planned timelines.
Be able to prioritise and allocate tasks to the Business SMEs.
