This position will be reporting to the recently appointed Head of Creative. The Copywriter leads all copy and content creation ensuring a consistent high standard of work that is on brand, results orientated and customer centric. Partner with the soon to be appointed Art Director to ideate and develop concepts when needed and build extensions on campaigns delivered by partners and agencies. Copywriter is responsible for writing copy for campaign extensions, POS, online, eDMs, catalogues, blogs, internal communications, sponsorship and retail packs.

This fantastic role with a leading Australian Retailer allows you to develop innovation to the rebel tone of voice, working with great internal and external teams you will be integral to the success of the business and develop successful campaigns and award winning-creative. The role requires a creative rebel (pardon the pun) that can think out of the box whilst “speaking” to the Australian Market.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:

7-10 years’ experience in a similar role, client and agency. Across the retail industry
Highly developed influencing, and relationship building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
Experience working with and collaborating with a variety of different teams like marketing teams, media agencies, creative agencies, research agencies, merchandise teams, visual merchandise and eComm teams etc.
Your experience will cover; TV, radio, OOH, POS, digital, eComm, social media and internal communications
Ability to write punchy headlines as well as long form copy
Proven ability to deliver the brand guidelines and tone of voice for all communications and execute the brand platforms, brand positioning and language for the rebel brand
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strength in proof reading, attention to detail and grammar
