Truly partner with senior stakeholders and operational managers to ensure financial and performance targets are met. You will provide high quality financial analysis, taking a proactive and forward looking view to ensure opportunities are identified and risks mitigated
Lead the planning activities (annual budget, quarterly forecasts) for your business units, ensuring strong stakeholder engagement, modelling of key cost drivers and identification of cost reduction initiatives.
Deliver month end performance reporting that is clear, insightful and proactive in highlighting risks and opportunities
Drive simplification across financial processes and consistency across the OPEX team, ensuring time is freed to focus on value adding business partnering activities
Play a key leadership role in co-ordination, preparation, review and distribution of OPEX results and communications.
Let's talk about you
Ideally you will have experience guiding and directing junior financial team members and are capable of taking on additional tasks as they arise
Tertiary qualification in finance or related field, CPA / CA qualified
Demonstrated experience in a Finance business partnering role in a large / complex organisation.
Experience in managing OPEX budgets in a mass market consumer-based organisation would be highly regarded
Proven experience in budgeting and forecasting and confident user of financial planning systems
