Business Relationship Manager – Workers Compensation

Location: Park Street Sydney, NSW

Type: Full-Time, Permanent Position

The opportunity

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Relationship Manager to join our Key Accounts team in our Sydney CBD office. As a Business Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for developing, building and maintaining relationships with customers and intermediaries to expand the people risk business in NSW and nationally. You will need to have a strong focus on relationship management and sales, with the ability to work across different business units to grow the business, whilst meeting all compliance and regulatory standards.

The successful candidate will work in a great national team environment and be responsible for the account management of a portfolio of customers, developing engagement plans, proactively developing key relationships and analysing current trends and growth opportunities within the portfolio.

Your story so far

We are looking for candidates with extensive workers compensation experience from either a broker, account management, claims or underwriting background and have a market presence that ensures credibility. You will have:

Strong working knowledge and understanding of workers compensation, particularly the NSW market
Outstanding customer service and relationship building skills
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Excellent analytical skills and a high attention to detail
Knowledge of the insurance industry and claims lifecycle
