About the role:

Working with the Risk & Compliance Manager, you will be assisting / providing line 2 Risk, Advisory and Internal Audit type activities within the RAA Group. This role has a defined development path into Operational Risk, where you will manage a business unit risk portfolio, provide specialist project support, as well as identify and assess the RAA Group operational risks through the provision of internal control assurance activities.

Responsibilities:

Internal Controls / Assurance

Assist in the review, updating and communication of policies and procedures, guidelines and
Conduct independent appraisals of internal control strategies implemented to mitigate
Planning, leading and conducting 2nd line of defence assurance activities using risk‐based audit principles and practices.
Review current and proposed management internal controls by identifying the best and preferred practices to effectively and efficiently manage the operational and process

Risk Management

Assist the business adhere to legislative, regulatory and contract obligations
Assist with the maintenance of risk management frameworks

Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or IIA‐CIA or
Internal audit experience or risk advisory within professional
