About the role:
The Team Leader, Operations in our Mortgage Hub is responsible for the effective management of workflow across the BOQ Mortgage Hub ensuring assessment and validation standards are maintained and service levels are met.
With a strong focus on staff management, training and quality control this role will be responsible for:
Managing a team of 15 Broker Assessors tasked with the assessment of PAYG Retail Banking secured lending facilities
Ensuring bank policy and compliance procedures are adhered to across the BOQ Retail Network
Ensuring the team are achieving established Service Level Agreements and monitoring productivity in line with Key Performance Indicators
Providing coaching and development opportunities to the Retail Network
Communicating changes to the BOQ Credit Policy and ensuring the teams objectives are aligned to the business
Completing monthly staff one on one’s, overseeing performance management and training and development
Responsible for continuous oversight on quality of assessment and verification to ensure common issues and areas of significant risk are managed
Sound knowledge of complex financial analysis for PAYG and self-employed loans.
To be successful in this role you will possess a demonstrated background in people management and proven leadership skills along with a strong foundation in retail lending. Corporate Operations and Branch Management applicants are encouraged to apply.

Strong commercial acumen with a good level of financial understanding
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a clear and unambiguous manner
