Job Description

Auswide Bank is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of Customer Hub Consultant - Consumer Lending in Bundaberg.

Be part of an evolving Customer Hub team which is situated in Auswide Bank’s Head Office in Bundaberg.

Provide superior service and support to existing and potential Auswide Bank Loan customers.

The Auswide Bank Customer Hub is currently in the process of transforming, changing and growing our digital offering.

The Hub is customer driven and this is demonstrated through the ‘power of small’ and placing our customers at the centre of everything we do. Our Customer Hub is crucial in ensuring we achieve our key strategic initiatives in successfully supporting both our Queensland & interstate customers.

The Role

Reporting through to the Supervisor Lending, you will be the point of contact for customers interacting with Auswide Bank via the phone, internet and email through the Customer Hub in relation to new and existing consumer lending.

This is a customer focused role in a high performing team providing superior service and support to existing and potential Auswide Bank customers in a Customer Hub environment. What are we looking for?

Business Acumen -- Understand your role in the organisation, impact on the business and how to make informed decisions. Judgment and Decision Making -- Considering the relative impact, costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one. Communication Skills – Ability to communicate effectively. Time Management – Effectively manage a number of conflicting priorities and customer deadlines at any one time. Organisational Skills--Effective communication, keenness to detail, ability to multitask, analytical skills and problem-solving abilities. Active Listening -- Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made and asking questions as appropriate. Analytical Skills -- The ability to visualise, articulate and solve problems.

Skills & Experience Required

The successful applicant must have: Minimum 12 months experience in a lending role with strong credit and interpersonal skills Experience in managing both new lending opportunities whilst demonstrating the ability to retain existing lending customers.

Additional skills required: Model the professionalism required of an Auswide Bank staff member. Demonstrate excellent communication skills and contribute to a growing and changing service operation. To enhance the quality of customer interactions, ensuring quality assurance, compliance, regulatory and legal obligations are met across all interactions. To work in conjunction with other Customer Hub consultants to achieve the company's objectives To be an innovative thinker with commercial aptitude to contribute to ideas. To work in conjunction with other stakeholders to achieve the company's objectives
