Bupa is looking for a Team Assistant, responsible for providing professional assistance to the Corporate Affairs Team, particularly the leadership team. This involves being a reliable and efficient ‘go to’ person for administrative support, in order to establish and maintain an efficient and organised working environment for the managers and their teams. This role has lots of variety and excellent opportunities to develop and build on existing administration skills. We are looking for a team player that can provide value add support with the variety of tasks that this role will be working on. Due to an internal secondment, this is initially a 6 month fixed term contract with possibility of extension.

How will I help?

Key accountabilities include:

Provide administrative support, including diary management, appointment scheduling and co-ordination for the leadership team
Reconcile business credit card transactions, process invoices and ensure payment occurs as required for the leadership team
Provide support for HR processes for the leadership team, such as raising job requisitions and performance management and remuneration review cycle support
Provide general assistance and logistical support to the wider team including support on specific software packages, coordination of team events and conferences, room bookings, catering requests and room set up
Preparing presentations, spreadsheets and documents, upon request
Undertaking special projects and other duties as directed

What do I need?

Sound experience equivalent to supporting a senior manager
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
MS Office – Advanced
Proactive, self-motivated and forward thinking with the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision or as part of a team
Confidence in dealing with senior key stakeholders
Proven ability to meet deadlines in an organised manner
An interest in the Corporate Affairs disciplines: Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability, Public Affairs, Government, Internal Communications, Media and Corporate Communications)
