As a Senior Digital Product Manager, you are the ‘glue’ between our customer, our business and our delivery teams. In this role you will focus on Bupa’s Digital Service Stream and partner heavily with our Health Insurance business. You will be responsible for managing Bupa digital products / services, and act as the bridge between the business, customers, and delivery teams to ensure we drive both customer satisfaction and business value. You ensure Bupa is building the right product, and the team ensures we are building that product in the right way.
While heavily involved in the day-to-day product development and delivery as part of an Agile product team, the Senior Digital Product Manager also has a strategic role and needs to understand the market, the business, and the customer to be empowered to make the right decisions around the roadmap, the backlog and releases, as well as contribute to the product strategy and vision.
Specifically, you will:
Communicate and motivate the team with a product vision that communicates the benefits of the product and continuous communication with stakeholders to seek alignment
Own, manage and communicate the Product Roadmap by translating it into initiatives, features and a program backlog
Perform market, competitive, and customer analysis
Identify opportunities and problem spaces, articulate market and customer needs
Manage the product through its lifecycle (not just its development)
Understand the market, the business and the customer so that you drive the right decisions: liaise with customer research teams; collaborate with design teams to create great customer experiences; work closely with business stakeholders to understand business drivers; work closely with analytics.
You're an experienced Product Manager who thrives in a landscape of ambiguity. You're driven to create products that are truly special for our customers and have experience working in an agile environment. You are characterised by the energy and passion you bring to delivering high performing products.
Specifically, you have:
Experience working in an Agile delivery environment as a Digital Product Manager and understanding of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
An entrepreneurial spirit with the experience and capability to navigate a large and complex, matrix organisation like Bupa.
Tertiary studies in Business, Marketing or IT
Experience collaborating with and influencing senior management, and exceptional interpersonal skills
Solid knowledge of Lean product and customer development.
Expertise developing digital solutions to improve the service offering to customers and operational teams within a multi-site business.
Experience forming a Product Strategy/Vision, the ability to translate it into a roadmap, and can turn that into a backlog.
An appreciation for Human Centred Design.
Experience working across multiple streams in a fast paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment.
An analytical focus with an appreciation of data analysis, commercial drivers, business viability and technical feasibility.
