We encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and individuals from diverse backgrounds.Wellbeing matters at Thales, and where possible we encourage flexible working.About Your RoleBased in Garden Island, the role is accountable for all the planning and execution of Maintenance Services activities associated within the DORSC ( Dock Operation and Reticulated Services) Contract.Provide leadership and manage (planning, organising, leading, and controlling) the maintenance function and team to achieve the agreed outcomes within the delegated authorities and responsibilities.Providing the appropriate direction, coaching, support and delegation to individual team members and the whole team to enable them to achieve the work objectives.Undertaking all Maintenance administrative actions necessary to maintain technical integrity, maintain material certification and to ensure that the correct technical recording and reporting processes have been followed in accordance with the Approved MMP, its subordinate plans and processes referred to there in, the Safety Management Plan and the relevant documents defined as ‘Maintenance Documentation’.Providing project management services (scope, schedule, performance, resource, quality, risk, and communication) for planned maintenance including unscheduled maintenance, reactive maintenance and corrective maintenanceImplementation of Planned Maintenance Baseline Review (PMBR) into the contracted maintenance systemHow About You?Degree qualified in Engineering or other suitable discipline.Industrial / Manufacturing Plant Maintenance Management experienceMaintenance Optimisation using RCMMaintenance Scheduling using an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systemAsset Management and Maintenance experience in a heavy manufacturing environment. at a senior levelManaging Maintenance and Planning teams for performance and quality outcomes.Experience in continuous improvement methodology and applicationYou’ll get an email acknowledgement after you’ve applied, Thales strives to provide a personalised experience for all suitable applicants. As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.
