About the roleAs the Program Manager, you will support an assigned division within Insurance Product & Portfolio.More specifically you will Ensure that the delivery team purpose and objectives are clear and linked to the broader Group and Insurance vision, strategy and customer roadmap.Ensure a sound translation of business objectives into clear streams of work, and understood roles and responsibilities across the delivery team and cross functional team.Adhere to governance frameworks and ways of working as well as Group program / project requirements, including legislative compliance.Integrate Insurance Product & Portfolio stakeholder requirements, division dependencies and relevant constraints into delivery ensuring that overall project objectives are met, and benefits are realised.Coach and empower delivery teams to take accountability for delivery, risk and issue management and assisting by removing blockers.Optimise and manage project resources in collaboration with relevant business and technology stakeholders.Provide regular status reports as required to stakeholders and governing bodies.Manage within the project budget, ensuring variations are identified, reported and addressed early.Create a project delivery environment that produces exceptional stakeholder and business-user satisfaction, underpinned by professionalism and sense of urgency.Build strong relationships with internal customers, stakeholders and integration teams to ensure delivery is smooth and customer centric.Proactively identify opportunities for improvements to business and project performance across Insurance Claims and Operations.Contribute to strategy discussions, planning forums and the continuous improvement of delivery, governance and project frameworks and capability in Insurance Claims and Operations.Build a culture of program accountability within the team, including the ability to motivate and drive continuous improvement. Knowledge and Experience Exceptional Program management skills and ability to clearly define project objectives and benefits of large complex projects.Experience building successful business relationships, particularly at Business and Strategic Leader level.Ability to manage a matrix team to achieve the optimal performance through the matrix model, managing risk, compliance and business outcomes.Ability to employ a constructive and collaborative negotiation style to achieve win-win outcomes in challenging circumstances.Plans, organises, implements, monitors, and controls projects, ensuring efficient utilisation of technical and business resources to achieve project objectives.
