Project Coordinator Date: 08-Feb-2021 Location: Melbourne, VIC, AU #job-location.job-location-inline { display: inline; } Department: Description: About the Role Project Coordinator provide various project administration duties which includes, engagement management support, contract conversions and other ad hoc tasks. Tasks includes both financial and project administration support around engagement management processes. Responsibilities include: Creating and maintenance of engagement codes including updating resource rates, processing financial adjustments, and closing engagement codes. Invoices clients as directed by the Project Controller or Engagement Manager. Maintain and update budgets and forecasts Track and report time and expenses in relation to the project budget Reconcile invoices received, fees and expenses Assist Controllers in their support of large projects Escalate project issues to Controllers Executes/refreshes previously designed reports and reporting per role requirement. Process vendor or contractor invoices Convert contracts as and when requested. Perform other admin and reports running duties as and when requested. Qualifications, Experience and Technical Prerequisites Certificate or Diploma studies related to Finance, Economics, or Accounting are desirable. Minimum 1-year experience with Microsoft Office, including beginner to intermediate Excel skills Personal Attributes and Skills Good oral and written communication skills Outstanding attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team Ability to work in a fast paced environment Ability to “think outside the box” when identifying problems and developing solutions Please note that this is a fixed term role for 3 months with a potential to become permanent in the future.
