Job DescriptionThe Lead Project & Traffic Manager within the studio team is the main point of contact for the centralised briefing process for sales into the studio team. Responsible for receiving, reviewing and interrogating briefs from the national sales team. The Lead Project & Traffic Manager is responsible for allocating briefs within the project management team, reviewing and approving all estimates and pricing, assisting with resource allocation and deadline management.Working across proactive, pitch and sold work, The Lead Project & Traffic Manager along with the Project Management Team are responsible for tracking all jobs from conception to completion, on time and on budget. The role will work with the wider studio team on delivering commercial, content-led solutions across the relevant Nine TV, radio, digital and print verticals.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for defining and mapping project deliverables in conjunction with Sales and relevant team members including timeline, roles and responsibilities outline, budget and costing reconciliation Central point of contact for coordinating multi-disciplinary project teams to effectively deliver project requirements within an agreed quality, timeframe and budget. Manage and intercept sales requests through central briefing inbox. Allocating projects to Project management team Key project manager for all pitch and sold video jobs. Responsible for monitoring, tracking and communicating project progress along with planning and coordinating project activities throughout the project lifecycle. Managing project risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle including identifying and escalating changes in cost or scope to stakeholders. Providing project status reporting to stakeholders as required Actively following the Brief/Response process. Ensuring strong lines of communication/co-operation between the Sales team, internal clients, Ad-Ops, Studio and Tech Dev teams. Working closely with key stakeholders to ensure all project deliverables meet/exceed client’s expectations. Being the key point of contact for Studios brief responses and executed jobs Manage department’s workflow and workload by resource Manage and guide Project Management team as main point of support and escalation Implementing systems and processes to increase output, deliver efficiencies and improve reporting Responsible for clear and effective job costings including initial budget quote and post analysis reconciliation by job including managing finance process at month end for accrual accounting function. Provide an exceptional customer service to key stakeholders within the business Work with Studio leads to implement working process and collaborating cross team workflow. Other duties as reasonably required Essential experience & skills Project Management qualifications, or at least 8 years’ experience managing small, medium and large delivery of projects in an integrated agency environment. Some digital design or development experience will be highly regarded. Editorial or content production skills will be highly regarded. Able to deliver complex solutions on time and to budget.
