Job Description

About the role:Located in Ventia’s North Sydney Office and reporting into the Projects Services Operations Director - the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for providing full and complete management of multiple small, large and complex projects - including project plans, scope definition, timelines, quality definition, assurance and financial control working. This is a pivotal leadership role in the project space, requiring the ideal candidate to have extensive experience in the corporate real estate industry, the ability to drive and grow the portfolio, be client focused and a natural at business development in this arena. Key Responsibilities include: Lead the Sydney Project Team and represent Projects and Workplace Solutions throughout the industry. Establish and enhance relationships to develop future projects and programmes of work. Formulate project management plans addressing Scope, HSE and Quality outcomes. Manage client expectations, maintaining an environment that is outcomes focused and encourages open communication. Develop and manage client level schedule of works within the key delivery phases. Manage and maintain project cost plans including forecasting of risks and cost contingencies. Manage and drive construction programs to meet agreed schedule and key milestones. Lead the clients in the experience / journey they have within the project. Key Experience / Skill set: Minimum 10 years proven project and project management - in a similar role. Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Engineering or equivalent. PRINCE2 Certification will be highly regarded – but not essential. Proven ability to develop and convert new business opportunities. Strong management and solid organisation skills. Possess a strong sense of accountability and responsibility. Solid client-facing communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of risk management and quality assurance control. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Suite. The successful applicant will be required to complete a minimum Government Baseline Security Clearance and must be an Australian Citizen.Please note: this role will require interstate travel from time to time.
