The role provides support to the team to deliver strategic advice and project management expertise. The role is also responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of all processes associated with supported programs. Working across government, the education sector and industry to establish relationships and further explore and pursue emerging program opportunities. The role includes scope to contribute to developing and delivering initiatives for under-represented and disadvantage cohorts.The successful candidate will demonstrate high-level communication skills and have the ability to build sustainable stakeholder relationships.The successful candidate will understand and utilise the Victorian Government's procurement processes, to ensure that Solar Victoria can deliver on its comprehensive training and jobs commitments.Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications An appropriate tertiary qualification or equivalent experience relevant to skills and training, is desirable.A background in the vocational education/ Victorian government education and training landscape and/ or experience in continuous professional development/ accreditation programs, and/ or professional certification, is desirableExcellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work productively, respectfully and sensitively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, often with competing priorities and interests.A positive, friendly, proactive and can-do attitude and ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environmentDemonstrated understanding of Victorian government procurement policies, processes and procedures, is desirableDemonstrated knowledge and experience using GEMS grants management system, is desirable To be considered for this position, your application should include a supporting statement demonstrating that you meet the Key Selection Criteria detailed in the position description, including the Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications and capabilities sections.
