About the RoleThe Senior Data Analyst ispart of a dynamic and highly valued team within the IT ServiceDelivery unit, and is accountable for leading the development andmaintenance of Super SA’s Enterprise Data Analytics andReporting systems. Furthermore, the role will be responsiblefor the provision of specialised data analysis, data extraction,project and technical support and organisational reporting. Inaddition, it will provide advice to business units on strategic andoperational projects and support the achievement of business goalsand deliver excellence in service to our members. The role requires the building and interpretation of thebusiness requirements and then translating them into solutions,with significant involvement in the underlying administrationsystems and processes to ensure accurate outcomes. In this role, you will: Contribute to implementation of Super SA’s approved data strategy and roadmap, and solution enhancements in accordance with the prioritised backlog Develop analytics and models to inform decision making Drive reporting requirements of the organisation across all systems Prepare accurate and detailed data and reporting requirements documentation Timely and accurate delivery of agreed data and reporting solutions to quality standards Provide support, advice and thought leadership to business users on technical/system queries and issues Recommend value-added solutions Actively contribute to best practices for the Data Management & Reporting team to deliver services as a competency centre Contribute to the development and maintenance of Enterprise Data Architecture documentation What we're looking forTo be successful inthe role, you will have: Ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, to facilitate their cooperation and support to achieve desired outcomes and to establish and maintain strong and productive working relationships Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills considering business impacts, extract and interpret sensitive and intricate information in data form, and ability to develop practical solutions with an outcomes-driven approach Able to deliver the data and reporting requirements of the organisation in accordance with agreed services and service level arrangements Experience with data handling and reporting practices, building data structures (eg data warehouse, data lakes, data marts) and ETL systems Experience with Microsoft’s data stack, with a working knowledge of Power BI, SSIS, SSRS, TSQL Knowledge of trends in the IT industry related to data management and reporting practices, tools, methods, architecture and design Knowledge of the superannuation industry, including accumulation, defined benefit and account based pension schemes Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously and to meet deadlines. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contribute to a culture of teamwork and take a shared responsibility for achieving results. Provide excellent customer service by being engaging, responsive, inclusive and respecting diversity. Special Conditions Recommended applicantsare subject to satisfactory criminal history check in accordancewith the DTF Pre-Employment Screening Policy and Procedure and inevery three years thereafter. Out of hours work and intrastate/interstate travel may berequired. RemunerationASO6 $92,784 - $98,143 pa There are two full time ongoing positions available.
