Job Description Are you passionate about the Built Environment and shaping a sustainable future for our communities?This is a unique opportunity to grow the Sustainability Practice in South Australia. You will support the Australian Sustainability Lead and Built Environment business in developing national capability. The role requires an industry thought leader in the delivery of sustainable buildings and precincts. Bringing holistic systems thinking, capability in zero carbon strategy definition and implementation, and a passion to deliver innovation, you will be a leading advocate for our Purpose. To be successful, you will be committed to the highest standards of service, focused on collaborative client relationships and exceptional project outcomes.We are looking for a candidate who is/has:•Passionate about a sustainable built environment•Experienced in the delivery of innovative and resilient outcomes, including biophilic/nature-based solutions, and net zero carbon and regenerative design strategies and solutions•Driven to work with project teams to realise ambitious sustainable design and certification outcomes•Able to communicate, engage, present and generate enthusiasm for and buy-in of ideas and solutions•Growing a leadership presence in the industry•Effective in business development and team growth•An integrated design leader with an ability to break down the architecture-engineering design silos•A strong understanding of disciplines/roles within the Built Environment sector•A deep background in sustainability compliance/certification, energy/carbon, water, healthy buildings, resiliency and green building design Candidate Specification Key requirements:•Bachelor and/or master’s degree in a technical built environment, sustainability or building design-related discipline; engineering qualification an advantage•8+ years of sustainability consulting experience, demonstrated areas of subject matter expertise and industry presence•Ability to generate new work from new and existing clients•Client focussed with an ability to establish strong client relationships•Excellent verbal and written communication skills•Knowledge of a wide array of global, national, state and local sustainability-related rating systems, codes, policies and programs•Green Star Accredited Professional•Computational design expertiseYou’ll be working on significant projects that shape the communities in which we live.
