Job Description

Eligibility: Open to Everyone Job Description:The primary role of a TAFE SA Lecturer is to provide a qualityeducational service of training, assessment and guidance tostudents in accordance with relevant training package objectives.Lecturers may also be involved in the provision of consultancyservices to industry/community clients. Special Criteria:Full time permanent position. Located at Whyalla Campus inthe first instance but may be required to relocate to other siteswithin the Agency. There may be a requirement to work from othercampuses on a needs basis. Some out of hour work may be required and a flexible approach tothe taking of leave is essential. Active participation inTAFE SA Performance Management and Development (PMD) Program. The successful applicant is required to have or gain a Departmentof Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check (WWCC) prior tobeing employed which is required to be renewed every five years. Acurrent DHS Child-Related Employment Screen Check will berecognised as a WWCC until expiry. Must be currently living in and eligible to work in Australia. Requirements:Please refer to the attached Role Descriptor and Industry Addendumfor qualification requirements and guidance on maximising yourapplication. Applicants must hold a Certificate IV in TAE (40116)and relevant qualifications in the metal fabrication (welding)field.
