Reporting to the National FMS Manager, the focus of this role is to identify and maximise our business development and sales opportunities as well as maintaining and developing existing customer accounts.Taking the lead in delivering business strategies within the Greater Hunter Valley region, you will:Share HCA product and market knowledge, ensuring superior customer service to identify and acquire profitable customer accountsDevelop and deliver technical advice to all stakeholders and actively participate in our new product evolutionsCollaborate locally and with the broader business to develop sustainable networks and relationships that reach across functions and organisations, including external partnersReport on prospecting activities, sales opportunities and competitor activityContributing to the overall performance of the region and broader business goalsTo Be Successful In This Role You Will NeedDemonstrated experience in a similar Business Development / Account Management role within the mining or mining services industryDemonstrated success in selling technically complex software and hardware solutions with variable sales cycles within a mining or industrial environmentDemonstrated ability to conduct high level negotiations in order to secure new and repeat businessAbility to build long term internal and external customer relationships including at C-LevelTechnical background with appropriate qualifications in engineering, mining, marketing or business with experience in technology preferredEnthusiastic, motivated and driven to hit KPI’s and targets contributing to the overall performance of the region and broader business goalsBenefitsWork with a global leader and make a big difference in a company that stands in its own right.
