What you'll be doing To start immediately, this is a 6 to 12 month role which sits within Coles Group Limited, supporting all brands across the Coles Group Portfolio (i.e. Express, Liquor, Coles Services, Distribution Centres, RROA, Chef Fresh and Supermarkets). The Coles Group consists of 112,000 employees spanning across Australia. The primary purpose of this role is to execute and deliver cyclical payroll activities and manage escalated query resolution from the outsourced payroll provider or internal stakeholders. The primary objective of the Payroll Specialist position is to execute the service delivery of the operational payroll function across Coles, deliver payroll operating processes across brands and deliver a seamless service between internal and external payroll activity related providers. Good things you’ll need We’re after highly skilled professionals with considerable experience. You’ll also need: proven experience in a payroll operations environment demonstrated experience with payroll and T&A systems (including ongoing system review and customisation) and end to end payroll processes demonstrated understanding of payroll tax and workcover legislation, superannuation and PAYG demonstrated experience in interpreting complex industrial instruments including Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements (EAs) experience in identifying and consolidating compliance risks and issues across an organisation prior tactical experience in a complex payroll environment
