Job Description

12-month full time contract role (maternity leave cover) Collaborative and supportive team Exposure to a large ASX listed company Who are we? About the role: You will be a point of contact for all employees across the Group on payroll related enquiries. In addition, this position provides administration support to the Payroll Specialists, providing data processing for the execution of payrolls and record maintenance for our vendor payments. This role is based in Sydney CBD; however, we will be undertaking an office move to Alexandria mid this year. This role will offer flexible work options from home. To give you an idea of what this role involves, you will: Support managers and employees in non-complex payroll queries Be the first point of contact for all phone and email queries, escalating as appropriate Process employee records through our Payroll system (SAP) Manage employee records via e-Filing to ensure data is accurate and up to date Maintain payroll procedures and documentation Ensure Customer Service and attention to detail is paramount About you: We are looking for customer service focused individuals who enjoy phone interaction and administration activities. You will have previous exposure to payroll with a proven understanding of basic pay components, including the application of superannuation, hourly rates and allowances. You have exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, and a solid working knowledge of Excel. While Kronos experience would be an advantage, recent SAP experience is highly desirable. You are a self-starter and have exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You are a team player and can adapt to dynamic environments.
