Ad Tech Manager Sydney NSW, AustraliaInvestigate and resolve technical issues within our advertising ecosystem Join Australia’s most influential media organisation Reporting into the Head of Commercial Ad Technology, you will play an important role in the management of ad technologies for the largest digital media publisher in Australia.The Commercial Ad Technology team is responsible for the operation, implementation and maintenance of ad technologies across the News Corp Australia network. Working with stakeholders both internal and external to deliver solutions that drive profitable revenue growth while maintaining the best user experience and outcomes for customers.What’s the role? Investigate and resolve technical issues within our advertising ecosystem using a variety of tools and knowledge sources. Support the Ad Operations and Programmatic teams in the successful delivery of paid advertising activity. Assist internal developers with the maintenance of our ad code library (JS based). Monitor the health of our advertising ecosystem using a variety of reporting tools and data sources. Identify potential optimisations to advertising performance on our sites using a combination of data, best practices, and out of the box thinking. Work collaboratively with stakeholders on the implementation and testing of ad technologies and products. Key stakeholder groups include Ad Ops, Ad Product, Pricing, Programmatic, internal developers, external vendors and Site Product. Who you are? Minimum of 2 years experience in digital advertising, including various disciplines such as Ad Operations, Ad Tech, and/or programmatic. Experience with technologies such as Ad Servers (Google Ad Manager), SSP’s (Xandr, Magnite), DMPs (Adobe), and Viewability/Verification (IAS). Sound understanding and knowledge of troubleshooting processes within an Ad Tech environment. Analytical with an aptitude for data processing. Project management experience, with familiarity in Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Experience working with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. Have the ability to understand and solve complex technical problems, then communicate them to stakeholders with varying degrees of technical understanding. Is up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies (e.g supply chain transparency, user privacy regulations, and the deprecation of the third-party cookie). Able to maintain high levels of accuracy, communication and quality when under pressure.
