This is a permanent part-time (.FTE) position commencing Term ,

Waddington Primary School (PS) is seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Teacher – Primary – Music to join their friendly team.

The successful applicant will possess strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills that will be used to develop and promote the school’s values, ethos and priorities across the school community. You will work effectively in a team environment as well as demonstrate quality teaching that enables students to achieve their potential. The successful applicant will work closely with students, teachers and the community to achieve the best educational outcomes for students in the classroom and extra-curricular contexts.

Experience in teaching Music to primary age students is highly desirable for this position.

Our strong team of teachers and support staff help to deliver the best possible education for our students, with quality teaching and learning underpinned by the Waddington values of Kindness, Persistence, Courage and Creativity.

Waddington PS is a small, 'country style' school, that provides individual attention to all of the children from Kindergarten to Year Six. The school has a strong focus on pastoral care, with the understanding that a child's social and emotional needs are paramount. Waddington PS values the positive relationships that it has with its school community and caters to families seeking individualised care and attention and a strong community feel.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.

  • Professional engagement.
