We're looking for an experienced Laundry Attendant / Cleaner to join our Residential Care Team at The Pines Lodge located in North Plympton, SA. About the roleTo work as part of a cohesive team by undertaking general laundry and cleaning duties for the provision of high quality housekeeping services. Work in a safe and inclusive manner that reflect SCC’s Better for life model to provide person centred care and support.Within the guidelines provided by nursing staff and the Housekeeping Supervisor support each resident’s independence and self determination to make their own choices, including taking some risk, to enable them to live as well as they can.You’ll care for our residents by giving them the clean, fresh clothes and linen they enjoyed at home. You’ll also maintain hygiene and look after our laundry facilities to keep things running smoothly. Commercial cleaning experience is essential. You know the equipment and products and you have a reputation for meeting standards and schedules.You are committed to Workplace Health and Safety and always follow correct procedures. Organised, keen to serve and effective alone and in teams, you appreciate and respond to people's needs by listening and communicating well. You communicate very well with people of all kinds – from nurses to the general public.
