The Directorate aims to empower Defence personnel with lasting tools and capabilities to effectively manage disputes and resolve issues at the lowest appropriate level. The team coaches, trains and provides expert advice to Defence personnel to achieve resolution of complaints and workplace disputes. The team is also focused on strengthening and embedding a privacy culture within Defence where personnel understand their obligations and have access to readily available advice, policy and guidance.About our TeamAs the Director of Complaints, Resolution and Privacy you will be part of a HR leadership team in Defence People Group and will play a key role in the HR Services Branch leadership team. The members of the Directorate you will lead are located throughout Australia. They are an exceptional team with a diverse range of experiences and skills.Our Ideal CandidateOur ideal candidate is highly motivated and can clearly demonstrate a history of delivering results in a HR service delivery domain. Extensive experience engaging stakeholders across a geographic footprint is desired and we are interested in an individual who can clearly articulate how the work of a Complaints, Resolution and Privacy Directorate would contribute to the Defence Department's strategic outcomes. Critical to success in this role is an ability to lead a diverse team to deliver services and reform programs.Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at 'Negative Vetting 1'.
