Job Description

<ul><li>Full-time contract until June 2022</li><li>Located in Armidale, Coffs Harbour, Dubbo or Queanbeyan</li><li>Salary from $97k pa + super (Clerk Grade 7/8)</li></ul><p>The Animal Biosecurity team (within the <a href="https://www.dpi.nsw.gov.au/" target="_blank">NSW Department of Primary Industries</a>) are looking for a passionate and talented Policy &amp; Project Officer to lead and deliver key animal biosecurity priority projects as part of the wider animal biosecurity team.<br><br>With a focus on innovative livestock traceability solutions, the specific projects you will work on include leading livestock traceability GS1 trials and supporting improvements in <a href="https://www.dpi.nsw.gov.au/animals-and-livestock/nlis" target="_blank">NLIS reporting</a>.<br><br>For more information you can download the <a href="https://files.jobs.nsw.gov.au/j5czmo">role description</a>.<br><br>This position will suit a person who is keen to drive innovative improvements in livestock traceability and will report to the Manager Animal Biosecurity Programs.<br><br>To be successful you’ll need to be someone who enjoys leading and working in project teams, is able to deliver results, and can collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders. You’ll also need a valid NSW Driver Licence as well as the ability and willingness to travel throughout the State as required<strong><br><br>How to Apply:<br></strong>It’s simple!
