JOB DESCRIPTION About the role In your new role you will be responsible for engaging our guests during their visit, and ensuring brand service standards are met to the highest quality. Reporting to the Bars Manager, you will enjoy working as part of a small team on a rotating roster, in a fast-paced environment. Duties/responsibilities Receive orders and serve customer requests completely in a timely manner Create and serve a range of beverages including classic cocktails, mixers, beer, wine and soft drinks etc. Take food orders and assist the floor team with deliveries as required Understand menu content, any menu changes, and promotional activities Keep your service area clean, tidy, and well-prepared Efficiently manage the proper settlement of all customer accounts Answer guest queries in a polite and helpful manner Monitor stock/fruit levels and order stock on a daily basis Enter and represent Zeta Bar in Cocktail competitions and attend new product launches when requested by the Venue Manager Skills/experience Completed tertiary qualifications in Hospitality Management is desirable Full Australian working rights preferred Valid NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate/card Previous work experience within Hospitality, bar venue's or Customer Service based is desirable Previous food hygiene experience is desirable Electronic Ordering Systems experience is desirable Friendly, positive, energetic disposition Excellent communication and grooming Passionate, innovative, exciting initiatives delivered with consistency and excellent attention to detail To be an outstanding coach, mentor and leader, committed to personal development Ability to contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance operational/environmental procedures in the Hotel Ability to work (and travel to work) at late evening/early morning hours on a rotating shift basis Culture and benefits Our team are responsible for living up to our brand promise of ‘ensuring that every guest feels cared for, valued and respected’ we achieve this by ensuring our Blue Energy culture is alive in each of our hotels.
