A leading Financial Services provider is seeking a Cyber Operations / Governance Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.Joining a small, dynamic, growing team, the successful candidate will utilise their broad knowledge and experience across a wide variety of cyber security tools and disciplines to work with different teams and vendors, providing a governance and oversight function to ensure the work they provide is in line with SLA's, policies and best practice. Working as the 2IC to the manager, this position will also require hands-on support and use of the cyber security tools, as well as training and mentoring new starters. To be successful in this role you will need:Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant industry certifications (i.e. CISSP)Strong experience working within cyber security gained within large complex environmentsA background in cyber operations with experience in either application security, cloud / network / infrastructure security, vulnerability management, DLP or endpoint security application security or cloud / network securityProven governance experience, ensuring services being provided are in line with SLA's and policies / best practiceStrong stakeholder and vendor management skills, with a proven ability to negotiate and influenceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAn attractive salary package is on offer for the right candidate.
