About the role Reporting to the Financial Accounting Manager, you would work closely with a team of Financial Accountants to provide accounting support for the delivery of accurate and timely financial results. The role focuses on a range of finance areas including accounts payable, accounts receivable, accrual accounting, management & financial reporting, and ad hoc projects. You would be based at our Head Office in Macquarie Park working with our high performing financial team. Your responsibilities may include Accounts receivable reconciliations reviews and monthly reporting to ensure invoicing and receipt processing and data entry is accurateAccounts payable reconciliations similar to aboveBank reconciliationsAssisting with preparation of monthly financial reports covering balance sheet, profit and loss, and internal management reports Assisting managing the general ledger including overseeing the monthly balance sheet, banking and intercompany reconciliationsAssisting in the preparation of year-end statutory accountsAssisting with the budgeting and forecastingAssisting in process improvement and systems enhancement initiativesProactively assist to identify new initiatives that could benefit the organisation. By nature, you can demonstrate Multiple accounting systems are utilised by the finance team so the ability to understand and work across systems is critical.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in order to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholdersThe ability to collaborate effectively with the team to achieve common goalsProblem solving and investigative skills with good attention to detailBeing a team player who enjoys working in a team environment and connecting with others in the businessExcellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Technically speaking you will have Accounting/Finance/Business DegreeCommercial background with experience in a similar roleCPA / CA qualified or studying towards this qualificationIntermediate – Advanced Excel skills with good computer literacy would be preferred About ECOLAB Ecolab is the global leader in water, hygiene and energy technologies and services that protect people and vital resources.
