An immediate temporary role is to support the Manager, Charging Unit within this well reknown Federal government agency. Your responsibilites will include but not be limited to: Assist in the continuous improvement of the activity-based costing model and tool, to support consistent application of the AGCFEngage with the stakeholders to collect costing requirements and translate those into financial models in alignment to the agency's internal charging and costings procedure and toolsClearly articulate the process and approach used in the costings to inform the Manager's review and approval.Provide subject matter expertise or policy advice relating to financial accounting standards as well as investigate, interpret and evaluate legislation, directives and policy to assist and guide staffProvide input to and undertake tasks of a specialised and technical nature including the preparation of papers and reports, financial modelling, annual financial statements and liaising with auditorsThe successful candidate is a management accountant with demonstrated experience in project costings, activity-based costing, and financial modelling expertise through using advanced MS-Excel or similar tools.Be appropriately qualified (CPA or equivalent) with strong financial management experience - covering all elements of financial management from initial budgetary projection through to final reporting requirements, analysis, application of accounting standards and practices, legislative and statutory requirements.Advanced knowledge and experience in Microsoft Excel and SAP.Apply now and don't miss out on this great role - Applications close Monday 15 February at 12pm.
