Job Description Summary •Full-time permanent Commercial Maintenance opportunity;
•Hourly rate, RDO’s, on call allowance, tool of trade vehicle, phone, i-pad, uniforms, and power tools provided;

Based in Sydney and reporting to the State Services Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day maintenance and service for a large portfolio of Commercial Clients.

About the Role

  • Undertake urgent, routine and ad-hoc maintenance, repairs, inspections on client’s premises and equipment as directed by the company.
  • Undertake and record PRA, Job Safety Analysis/SWMS, client required documents prior to commencement of tasks.
  • Have current appropriate qualifications and training to issue or receive required work permits e.g. but not limited to Working at Heights, EWP.
  • Review and comment on any Plumbing instructions and standard operating procedures supplied by C&W FM or Trade Services.
  • Participate and take an active role when new equipment items are transferred from Projects to Maintenance.
  • Ensure effective Key Performance Indicators are managed effectively including response times, safety, compliance, and financial performance of all job numbers assigned to you.
  • Participate in the management of occupational health and safety.
  • Promote working in a team environment with work colleagues.
  • About You

    To be successful in this role, it is expected that you possess relevant Plumbing trade qualification, coupled with relevant working experience.

    You will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a Commercial Plumbing environment
  • A valid manual Driver’s Licence
  • Solid understanding of OH&S, Risk Management, Environmental Management or Quality Assurance systems
  • Ensure adherence to all legal requirements associated with the role including, but not limited to, The Trade Practices Act, Legislation, Fair Trading Act, Contract and Employment Law
  • Experience in Building Services Maintenance
  • Basic estimating (small works)
  • App’s experience for completing documentation
  • Basic IT skills
  • A set of hand tools
  • Desirables: Qualifications in RPZ (Backflow Prevention Devices) and TMV (Thermostatic Mixing Valves) testing and installation works
  • You will be:

  • Self-motivated and a positive team member, able to work independently
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive with the ability to troubleshoot, identify issues and provide solutions
  • The successful applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical examination including a drug and alcohol test and a criminal conviction screen.
