Moving millions of people needs the skill and commitment of a talented workforce.The Office of Major Transport Infrastructure Delivery (OMTID) is a new office established from Main Road’s Infrastructure Delivery Directorate (IDD). In addition, the PTA, through its Major Projects (MP) division is responsible for a range of high value, complex rail and related infrastructure projects. Many of the projects being delivered by OMTID and MP are part of the broad program of works under the overarching banner of METRONET.The RoleAn exciting new opportunity has arisen within the division of OMTID in the position of Document Management Coordinator. We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional who will manage and coordinate the personnel and activities of the Document Control section in accordance with project standards and document control procedures.This is a fixed term opportunity of up to three years with the possibility of extension. About youTo be successful in the role, you will need to have:

  • Substantial experience in development, management and support of systems capture, storage, publishing and distribution, of digital and hard copy documents.
  • Sound supervisory, leadership and management skills, including the ability to provide clear advice, direction and appropriate feedback to team members and motivate them towards achieving team outcomes.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to foster collaborative working relationships and work constructively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated policy, research, conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills including the ability to interpret analyse and communicate information; and develop practical and innovative solutions to complex problems.
