Moving millions of people needs the skill and commitment of a talented workforce.The RoleAn exciting new opportunity has arisen in the position of Manager Third Parties. We are seeking an experienced civil engineer to lead the Third Parties team in providing access to the PTA’s rail network and to safeguard the PTA assets. The incumbent will coordinate resources to manage the interface with third parties for the maintenance, design, construction, upgrades and modifications on, or near to, the Branch and/or PTA assets. They will contribute to the overall performance, reliability and compliance of the PTA network.To be considered for this role, you will need:

Possession of an Civil Engineering Degree, rail environment that would satisfy the admission requirement for professional membership into the Institute of Engineers Australia;

Substantial experience in providing civil engineering expertise and knowledge in the planning, design, commissioning and delivery of maintenance and/or construction works in a rail operational asset intensive environment;

Substantial experience in managing the performance of an operational team and financial/physical resources in the achievement of agreed outcomes and providing a customer focussed service.

Applicants must be in possession of a current WA ‘C’ or ‘C-A’ class Driver’s Licence or equivalent; have the ability to work unsociable hours; be available for callouts; and to travel and stay away from home station, sometimes at short notice.
