About the role What you’ll be doingReporting to the Manager Strategic Giving, you will be responsible for strategic initiatives within the Foundation, including social impact grant programs, impact investment, philanthropic thought leadership, and program measurement. You will also support the delivery of programs across the broader Strategic Giving team.As the Senior Associate, NAB Foundation you will be a subject matter expert on operating within the philanthropic guidelines and governance framework of the charitable trust, and committed to social and community outcomes as the primary driver to the Foundation’s strategy.Key responsibilities: Develop, deliver and manage all aspects of new long-term social impact grant programSupport the execution and management of NAB’s new community grant programSupport the design of reporting processes that drive the measurement of social impact and outcomesLead activities and campaigns to enhance awareness of the Foundation’s work to stakeholders, effectively communicating results to internal and external stakeholdersProvide guidance on strategic initiatives within the Foundation such as impact investment and philanthropic thought leadershipProvide advice and guidance on philanthropy and giving to teams at NAB What you’ll bringWe are looking for resourceful self-starter who has the ambition to grow and develop in this role and is an adaptable team player.You will have: Extensive professional experience in establishing and administering grant-giving in corporate, government or philanthropic sectors,Experience in the field of social impact, with strategic thinking skills to help solve complex problems and drive positive social impactSubject matter expertise or tertiary qualifications in the environmental sector, or natural disaster community preparation or resilience In addition, you will bring outstanding stakeholder management and influencing skills. You will have a track record of managing a broad range of stakeholders, from internal executives to external community organisations.
