Job DetailsMulesoft is an enterprise software as a service company that is owned by Salesforce. The APAC Sales Strategy team provides MuleSoft’s leadership team with complex analyses and strategic insights to accelerate business performance across our entire cross-functional sales motion - we provide the analysis and insights that maximize the productivity of our Field organization and our customers’ success. The Senior Strategy Analyst / Strategy Manager will report to MuleSoft’s Head of Field Strategy for Asia Pacific and will work closely with our senior field leaders. The Senior Strategy Analyst / Strategy Manager will play a critical role requiring a mix of executive-level reporting, data analysis, process optimization and business operational support.The Senior Strategy Analyst / Strategy Manager will dive deep into our KPIs, testing well-formulated hypotheses with rigorous quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify trends, hotspots, and opportunities. Armed with data, you will champion change across field functions, securing buy-in and influencing behaviors at all levels to drive significant and lasting impact in the form of larger deals and higher win rates. The work will directly support many aspects of executive-level decision making at a high-growth software company including:Demand generation and pipeline analysisCreation of our go-to-market strategyBusiness forecasting and planningDesign of sales territoriesYou will have a high degree of attention to detail, a relentless curiosity, and possess a passion for creating innovative analysis to identify opportunities. You are able to balance operations with strategy and planning, are not afraid to ask difficult questions, and proactively seek the answers for them. You have a natural inclination to recommend and implement ways to improve the efficiency of our work. A proven ability to extract insights from data and convert ideas to action is a must, as well as a passion to excel in the role with curiosity and serve as a utility player on the team.Position responsibilities will include a mix of project-based as well as operating activities for example:Drive high impact changes across multiple leaders and teams to improve business performance through analysis and reporting of sales funnel performance KPIsSupport quarterly business reviews and annual business planningPerform ad-hoc data analysis and modelling to support executive decision makingSupport initiatives and reporting to optimize partnerships with Salesforce’s core sales teams Create CEO-ready presentations by leveraging the Field Analytics team’s business intelligence products and partnering with business leaders to craft compelling storylines Assist in troubleshooting operational issues as they surface and propose changes to systems/processes to fix root causesDevelop perspective Market & competitive analyses Required Skills/Experience4-6 years of relevant experience analyzing data, identifying insights, and recommending actionsDetailed, organized, and solution orientedSelf-starter with high degree of motivation to learn and go above and beyond Ability to adjust on the fly to new demands; sense of urgency and prioritizationAbility to execute quickly with high attention to detail in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentStrong written and oral communications skills Advanced Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets modeling capabilitiesFamiliarity with subscription software business models a plusSalesforce experience a plusTableau Desktop experience a plusFP&A, consulting, or investment banking a plusAccommodations - If you require assistance due to a disability applying for open positions please submit a request via this
