Under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries, we offer quality services to our patients and visitors in a caring, friendly atmosphere.About the role You will join the Scrub/Scout team and provide quality patient care through clinical nursing practice, promoting collaborative relationships amongst the health care team and maintaining a customer-focused approach to nursing across the continuum of care.Duties Ensuring excellent customer serviceDirect delivery of patient careAdherence to key performance indicatorsDemonstrate ‘best practice’ clinical skills within the Perioperative environmentMaintain and further develop level of clinical competenceAct as a clinical role model by providing the highest standard of direct patient careAccurately document patient care in accordance with hospital guidelinesAssist in the achievement of ward / unit key performance indicatorsQualifications, skills & experience Recent or current experience in Perioperative Nursing (minimum of 2 years Scrub/Scout)Are an excellent communicator, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise in a busy environment of competing demandsHold current registration with AHPRA and are eligible to work in AustraliaHighly developed communication & interpersonal skillsDemonstrated well-developed clinical skillsAbility to adapt to a changing environment and work as a part of a well-developed team Working towards post graduate qualifications in Perioperative is desirableCulture You will join a high performing team and a workplace with relationships built on mutual trust and respect.
