Job Description

As our new Regional Logistics Manager, you will manage the regional logistics operations, which includes farm milk collection and operational responsibility for palletised finished goods within the region.

You’ll support the GM Logistics to achieve the Supply Chain Compelling Business Needs in your region. Your focus will be to evolve the existing farm milk collection capabilities to one of greater efficiency and performance, as well as building broader logistics capability and efficiency in the region.

You will also assist the regional operations warehouse staff in managing the transport services at the site. It will also manage local engagement with regional distribution problems to the likes of food services deliveries.

What you will bring

You’ll come from a background in food logistics, or similar industry, with strong skills in collaborating and building relationships with key stakeholders. Developing a strong profile with the site operations leads will be critical.

Other skills you’ll bring are:

Proven experience in leading and managing change and continuous improvement initiatives
Previous people management experience including conflict resolution
Ability to develop and execute plans within the constraints of time, resources, quality and cost
Knowledge of local area would be a strong advantage
